Summary of Duties

Partners In Care provides private duty personal care, homemaker, and support services.  This key role is responsible for meeting the planned operating targets and the delivery of quality home care.  Collaborates with program development and agency growth, and coordinates client care assignments of caregivers and scheduling staff providing paraprofessional services.  Involved with human resources matters, positive employee relations, interviewing, hiring, staff orientations, disciplinary measures, and separations.

Responsible for accurate, timely, and proficient reimbursement documentation.

Meets with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions.

Maintains ongoing communication and follow-up with potential clients and families.

Conducts client/caregiver/homemaker-companion introductions as needed.

Facilitates and conducts a client quality assurance visit schedule and maintains accurate documentation. Works with clients and families to ensure satisfaction with services.

Various administrative responsibilities in support of agency operations.



Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, health, or related field, or related experience in lieu of degree.

Experience: 2 years in a private duty or related type agency, with effective business supervisory experience; experience working with the elderly desirable.

Skills: proficient MS Office skills and software technology, analytical capacity, well-developed interpersonal skills to interact with, clients, families, co-workers and staff, tactfulness, professionalism, and solid reasoning abilities;results-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations; ability to make sound, consistent business decisions;well organized and apply a participative management style to evaluate, plan, prioritize, implement and follow up with prudent and timely actions.     

Valid motor vehicle operator’s license, auto insurance, and automobile during business hours.
